Monday Darts

Monday Darts is in its third successful season, open to Havant and Waterlooville players operating on a ten week singles tournament system, playing the best of five 501 legs competing for leauge placings and a finals format. Entrance is £5 a week which finances the prize money distributed to all players on a winners scale basis. There is a 7.30pm start with all new players welcome. John Wall, recently celebrated his 60th at the same club

he has worked at for the past eight years. Known to all the customers as "Mr Darts", John runs and promotes the Monday darts and the monthly Saturday tournaments. His first job was in a specialist dedicated unit, based at The Portsmouth Dockyard, painting and designing camouflage for the Royal Navy ships that headed to the Falklands in the 1980's. John is also a trained Councilor having worked for the Samaritans. From construction and management he is now the "Darts King Pin" at The Phoenix Darts Club.

Having trouble when its your turn to chalk or you would rather spend the time practicing before your next match, then feel free to ask one of our semi-professional chalkers to chalk your match.
